My podiatric honours degree was achieved in 1997 at the University of Westminster. This qualification allows me to administer local anaesthetics, perform nail surgery and carry out all general podiatric foot care treatments.
The training was comprehensive and included treating patients in the community and at the Hommerton Hospital in East London.
I am committed to continued professional development and attend a number of seminars and updated training courses every year.
I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and am a member of the Society of Chiropodists & Podiatrists. The HCPC qualification is the one required in order to work for the NHS.
Since 1998, experience has been gained with several NHS trusts. This has included working at the Royal Marsden Hospital, Sutton and St Helier Hospital, Carshalton. Up until 2016 I worked part time for Merton & Sutton Primary Care Trust in several GP practices, medical centres and clinics.
My private practice mostly involves treating individuals in their own home or at their place of work. I also visit nursing homes, residential homes and commercial organisations.
